The 4CV by Louis Rosier
an excellent coupe "made in Turin"
In out last issue we presented a Renault 4CV tuned by D.B. and we anounced more of these.
Here we are, and it's a merit of Louis Rosier to be the first to have shown a fully accomplished car.
His small coupe, designed and built by Motto in Turin, is very different from the silhouette of our well known 4CV.
The small coupe by Louis Rosier is seductive, excellent with respect to aerodynamism, in every way successful.
Because of its low height (120 cm), low ground clearance (18 cm) and its weight of 500 kgs one can expect nice performances.
Louis Rosier, who is very optimistic, speaks about no less than 180 km/h. Let's say taht with the 1063 mechanics some 155-160 km/h would already be very nice.
Still optimistic he anounces that if the price could be lowered to 800.000 francs he'd make a small series of this car. Which will mean that this car will stay unique, unless our French champion would feel the need to be a maecenas or even a philanthropist!
A curved windscreen, an Italian body, Rudge wheels, racing mechanics, 160 km/h, all that for 800.000 francs?
That would be so nice!
