Feels like an Opel.. A Kapitan that never made it?

Otto Puzzell

I agree it looks Opelescent - but it's not an Opel.

No idea really, but my feeling tells me: british, maybe some Hillman or  Sunbeam with a special body...

I kept spinning on that Opel idea - it looks very much like a Kadett derivative. I don't think it's a Vauxhall or Holden... and you say it's not an Open, but is it Opel-related then?

Seeing as how we're in the land of the coupe and there's an oblong badge ahead of the strangely-sized rear wheel-arch, is there meant to be a Bertone connection , "meant to be" being operative?

Otto Puzzell

No Bertone connection that I am aware of.

Savio? Guessing based on a Fiat 124 or 125...

Otto Puzzell

Right designer / constructor...

As usual I don't deserve this point...this is a Fiat 128 coupé Savio presented at the Salone di Torino in 1970.

I dunno about "as usual". Your amazing point total is built on a knowledge of cars that makes most of us look like rank amateurs!

Thank you, but I just followed Quiller path...the credit is his. :)

Thank you again, that makes me feel better...I know these are the rules and it happened also to me but Quiller has just started and it seems he'll go far!
