No idea really, but my feeling tells me: british, maybe some Hillman or  Sunbeam with a special body...

I kept spinning on that Opel idea - it looks very much like a Kadett derivative. I don't think it's a Vauxhall or Holden... and you say it's not an Open, but is it Opel-related then?

Seeing as how we're in the land of the coupe and there's an oblong badge ahead of the strangely-sized rear wheel-arch, is there meant to be a Bertone connection , "meant to be" being operative?
