It is a german Victoria 250 from 1957/1958. It was the sister model to the german Spatz. One of the outside differences was that Spatz had one "large" intake behind the entrance zone/door, the Victoria had two smaller grills (as the pictured car).

And there are very few Victorias left, as many of them burned their neat little elastic (!) plastic skirt after carburettor malfunction...

"Spatz" means "sparrow": "firebird"may have been more approriate :D

It´s original design was done by Egon Brütsch, but it was manufactured by Victoria/Nuremberg later on.

It is a Victoria...I have the manufacturer listed as Bergfalke[ the seller on eBay listed it as BUrgfalke, but Google says it's BErgfalke...], from 1958.  The seller says it's one of only two ever imported to the 'States.  It's currently for sale, and the price was about 14grand, last time I checked.
