Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away!

Otto Puzzell

Not a Bizzarini.

This car was built by a brand whose cars, in an earlier era, were draped in the most beautiful bodywork. This later example has coachwork from a less-celebrated builder. While its sharp, it doesn't have the pizazz of those earlier cars.

Not a Delage, but that's closer than the previous guesses.

Indeed - can you ID the model or the coachbuilder?

Not sure...would guess maybe Frua or maybe Pininfarina...Figoni et Falaschi, perhaps?  I'm guessing the car was built in the late '40's...it's a magnificent vehicle, as all Talbots were.

This car was built in the early 1950's, by a less well-known (to me, anyway) coach-builder. I'll give the community a little more time to solve this one - you've done the heavy lifting for them... :)

This car was based on a (successful) cycle-fendered competition model from this manufacturer. That car won a very well-known race the year before - the last non-envelope bodied car to do so.

This example was built for endurance racing, and was geared accordingly. The big engine under that long bonnet had the beans to pull it along at a pretty high speed (for it's time).

The coach builder for this example, while not based in France, turned out a long line of beautiful cars on French chassis. They built some non-French cars, too.

So it isn't on the T-26 Sport Coupe chassis?

We have the brand; the mechanicals have been identified; now we need a model designation and a coachbuilder.
