grob buggy mystery 2013.11.17 (01)

Who knows this buggy conversion?

Maybe we had it here already??

I only know that the photo has been made at the 2nd "Zentralschweizerisches Buggy Treffen at Buochs" during the 12th and 13th August of 1979. Buochs was the town, where Albar cars and buggies were built.

The buggy is obviously based on a Citroen 2 CV. The license plate is owned by a Leonhard Illien, probably the builder.

Maybe the builder was a relevant of Mario Illien??

The well known Mario Illien himself is swiss and he drove a 1955 Citroen TA 11 at the 2013 Beijing-Paris rallye - pure coincidence?

If the name proves right I will give you a point for that... ;)

What?? How did you find that? In the UK such information is not for public knowledge. Is there no privacy left in the world? ;D
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

I think that swiss licence plates stay in one family and that there´s a public register somewhere....

Yes, and you can ask for up to 5 licence plates a day.  8)
