Coachwork on Rolls Royce 1906 - 1939
Book by Lawrence Dalton published by Dalton Watson in 1975
448 pages, 19cm x 25cm. This is the second volume to 'Those Elegant Rolls Royce'. It covers the pre war period from the introduction of the Silver Ghost in 1906 to the end of the Phantom III and Wraith in 1939
There are over 700 good sharp photographs featuring over 80 different coachbuilders, produced on high quality glossy paper. The photographs do not duplicate the ones in 'Those Elegant Rolls-Royce', they are different. The two books together give coverage of 1400 different bodies on pre war Rolls-Royce chassis. This a superb book from the very high quality Dalton Watson publishers
This title has long been out of print. Prices tend to be higher, around the 100 euro mark, whith obvious exeptions.
