Yes it is a Bailey, and LMP2 is very close, but not quite the model name I have for this one.  I will keep this puzzle locked for you until your next reply

Is it open to anyone yet?
Must say Maxiu looks right to me but perhaps you know something I can't find!:

Not really it doesn't.  Read it several times.  Then Image Google Bailey LMP2 and read all the returns you get and you will see that every website calls it an LMP2.

Now I'm not an expert on these cars or their classes but they race in LMP class (Le Mans Prototype I assume) and there is LMP1 and LMP2.  This particular car is built for LMP racing and races in LMP2 class.  I don't think it's particularly meant as a model name anyway.  Perhaps Djetset obtained his image from a site where the name appears to be Le Mans LMP Challenger but the car definitely is NOT called that!!

What websites call it doesn't matter. Beyond that, I am quoting from your screenshot. Then look at the official site, which is where you need to look for the name in the first place.

And what's more Maxiu's first shot at it was right anyway!
BEC simply stands for Bailey Edwards Cars, who make the Bailey LMP/LMP2 or whatever it's called!

won't argue with that.

(ps: It seems that BEC is a bit confused about what to call it too, so I'd say both LMP and LMP2 are correct, if we go by what it says on the manufacturer'ss ite)

In the absence of both Maxiu and myself in this debate, the model name I was looking for was neither LMP nor LMP2, but rather 'LMP1' which is the name printed on both the sales brochure and the official Bailey website.

I have now awarded Maxiu the point for virtually getting it, and will move this to solved.
