The Dick Williams Sport Special. Based on a 1950 Ford (bought $ 75 in 1958). Fiberglass body. The fins were an afterthought. That shows.

Fascinating story. Dick had always wanted to build his own car and finally got around to it in the late fiftes (despite just getting married) and completed the car in time for the 1959 Kansas City Custom Car Show.

He sold it to a guy at the show and never ever saw it again!

Yes, it is indeed. It's a one-off fiberglass bodied sports car, based 1950 Ford chassis with engine from 1958 Corvette, built by Dick Williams.
