No, not major at all.
And after a bit of research I can state there actually was a connection between ZAZ 970B and this car, but not a straight one.

No, not RAF, but the right 'side' of the former Soviet Union (although wrong country if we speak of today's boundaries).

Is it one of the "samodelki" a self-made car? I've seen now a lot of them and I will post some as a puzzle a bit later, but not this one.

It would be very good to see some "fresh" :)

I wouldn't say so, although this car was a one-off. It's rather a prototype.

Estonia: yes
TARK: no

Maybe the fact that this car was very unique will show you the right path to follow.

I think I have found it.

This is the ERSPO ET-800 which was built on the basis of the ZAZ 966 in 1970

ERSPO stands for Эстонского республиканского потребительского общества - Faksta, I let you translate it :)

Another view:

And all the vehicles which were produced at the factory:

Exactly!

Designed by Roman Bertelov. To be more precise, its name was ERSPO ET-800 Elektra, but the point is yours anyway - that was quite enough.
Maybe you could also name it's special feature? I think it would be easy now when you know the car.

"Эстонского республиканского потребительского общества" is a genitive case for "Эстонское республиканское потребительское общество", which can be translated as 'Estonian Republic Consumer Society'.

And the only picture I have apart from what have been already posted in this thread.
